Marquis Who's Who Honors William J. Lyons IV for Marketing Leadership

UNIONDALE, NY / ACCESS Newswire / July 29, 2025 / Marquis Who's Who honors William J. Lyons IV as a leading entrepreneur in the fields of business and marketing. With more than 15 years of professional experience to his credit, Mr. Lyons has amassed skills in marketing, strategy and fundraising, as well as partnership and business development. Using this expertise, he assists startups and established brands in effectively repositioning and launching new products.

Mr. Lyons' professional career has been informed by both education and upbringing. He attributes much of his success to his father's constant encouragement, his mother's belief that one should always do something for a reason and his basketball coaches' support. As a former athlete, he remains driven and goal-oriented in his work. Guided by these figures, he earned a bachelor's degree in management and consumer behavior from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2009.

Becoming a Consulting Specialist

Equipped with the principles of his upbringing and key knowledge from his education, Mr. Lyons entered the professional world as a senior account executive in consulting and business development for Altus Marketing and Management. Following two years in this role, he became an independent marketing consultant for an interim period, after which he ventured into entrepreneurship as the co-founder of 15 Things. Though the project lasted only a year, his experience would inform his future business endeavors.

From 2014 to 2015, Mr. Lyons served as a media strategist, then joined Samsung Mobile to assist in business and media development through content and services. In 2016, he became a self-employed consultant specializing in business development and marketing strategy. From 2017 to 2019, he served as a managing partner of business development at VCT Member Experience Advisors. It was in 2017 that Mr. Lyons would establish his next entrepreneurial venture, Company 4.

Mr. Lyons' Work With Company 4

In this role, Mr. Lyons collaborates with companies to identify and resolve business challenges while maintaining maximum efficiency. As an executive who's seen it all, from international companies like Samsung to a two-person startup, Mr. Lyons manages challenges by identifying specific problems, assembling the right teams and maintaining cost efficiency for his clients.

In addition to his professional career, Mr. Lyons is involved in several civic organizations. He supports the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Worcester Polytechnic Institute's athletics fund. He is also the founder and operations director of the National Hoops Academy, a youth basketball training organization based in Westford, Massachusetts.

Next Steps Forward

Looking to the future, Mr. Lyons aims to expand his business operations and partner with the right people. He hopes that Company 4 will become a household name across the Northeastern United States and California by solidifying best practices and creating unique solutions for business problems.
